links to electrical networks

The project has two LMT (Medium Voltage Power Transmission Line). The first one, of approximately 14 km long, in 33 KV/50 mm² in aluminium cable possess a capacity of transportation and supply of 6 mW. It is connected to the LMT line on National Route 40. The second one, of greater importance for its direct relation according to the working project with the transmitter station Cañada Honda (30 mW), and for its capacity of transportation in 33Kv/120mm² in aluminium cable, is under construction. It is estimated that on October, 2007 this LMT will be connected, with a capacity of transportation and supply of 14 mW. New LMT are being constructed.

To supply actual plantations and finished works (houses, deposits, etc.), a 13,2 kW recessing transforming station and some inner lines have been constructed. Since the Central-Western gas pipeline coming from Mendoza to San Juan is located parallel to the accesses and the railroad networks, investors asked and obtained the concession of two natural gas resource management systems modulated at 800 m3/hour each of them. They may serve as a “back up” for electric generation or have other uses in the future.
